FEVER SCREENING
With the use of thermal imaging solutions for body temperature measurement, new opportunities are now available to successfully control disease in hotspots.
Thermal imaging cameras with high temperature accuracy help detect elevated body temperatures that may indicate fever. These cameras can be used to screen travelers, customers and employees for fever.
Any object with temperatures above absolute zero emits a detectable amount of radiation. A thermal imaging camera converts IR radiation into gray scales and adjusts these values to temperatures using an algorithm model.
Thanks to the advanced detector and algorithm, the thermal cameras for contact or non-contact fever early detection can detect elevated body temperatures in environments with many people. The accuracy is up to ±0.3°C and is therefore ideally suited.
Thermographic screening cameras have intelligence to recognize a human face and detect the temperature of the person there to avoid false readings.
Even in the simplest version, screening thermal cameras can signal elevated body temperatures to the operator through an audio module to detect a person with a fever.
